Newton County Parks and Recreation hosts an Easter Egg Hunt April 9 at City Pond Park, 13501 City Pond Road, Covington.
This free event begins at 11 a.m. and the frist 100 children receive a free goody bag.
The egg hunt is for children 10 and under and features face painting, games, prizes and fun.
