Upper Oconee Watershed Flood Map Revisions

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is proposing revisions to its Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) for the Upper Oconee Watershed.

An in-person Open House will be scheduled in the fall of 2021 or spring of 2-022, after which owners of affected properties will have a 90-day appeal period. The new FIRMs are anticipated to go into effect in Spring of 2023.
