The Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale Health Department has opened a mass vaccine site in Newton County.
The site, located at Georgia Piedmont Technical College, 8100 Bob Williams Pkwy, Covington, GA 30014, is open for walk-ins Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in nearby Rockdale County, another mass vaccine site is open Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for walk-ins. The site is located at Springfield Baptist Church, 1877 Iris Drive, SE, Conyers.
