[ARCHIVED] Presidential Preference Primary voting stopped

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced Saturday March 14, that voting in the Presidential Preference Primary is postponed until May 19, 2020.

"Events are moving rapidly and my highest priority is protecting the health of our poll workers, their families, and the community at large," Raffensperger said.

Votes which have been cast during the early voting period up to the date of the postponement will be counted, according to the Secretary of State’s office.

The Presidential Preference Primary Election will take place with the General Primary.
