The Water Resources Department oversees, is responsible for, or otherwise assists in the following county functions, among others:

Water Conservation Efforts
Construction of the new Bear Creek Reservoir
Oversight of the NPDES program in the County
Inspection and enforcement of NPDES and E&SC regulations
