Biography
is a product of Florida roots, he attended primary schools in Florida and finished two years of undergraduate study at Jones College in Jacksonville, Florida. He began his management career at the Greyhound Corporation as a senior assistant manager for the Jacksonville, Florida location. Later he moved to Georgia and joined the corporate dinning division at Emory University. Since leaving Emory Mr Simmons has worked for other Fortune 500 Companies such as The Coca-Cola Corp and The AriZona Beverage Company He currently makes his home in District 2.
Commissioner Simmons attended advance classes in Government leadership, Ethics, public speaking, budget management and law and government at the Carl Vinson Institute at the University of Georgia.
