PURPOSE OF JOB:
Performs routine work involving the receipt of voter registration applications, entering and retrieving data into state-wide voter registration system, and providing information to the public, poll officials, and other governmental agencies. Assists with absentee by mail and in person voting as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
All candidates to fill a vacant position in this classification must meet the following minimum requirements:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED: and,
Previous election experience preferred or a minimum of two years of progressively responsible related experience; or,
Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Licenses and Certifications:
Notary Public (or ability to obtain)
