Family Connection Community Resources

Newton County's Family Connection provides a list of available resources in our community to help those in need. 

Go to www.nwtnfamilyconnection.org and search under "resources" for:

  1. A searchable database for everything from a food pantry list with locations, hours and information, to government agencies and (limited) housing hours and information, to government agencies and (limited) housing options.
  2. Information related directly to COVID-19.
  3. Resources related to a kinder community - from books to use to share with children about race and more, to supplies needed for homeless adults.

Willing Helpers Medical Clinic (678-625-8317) is open Tuesday - Thursday and can be found at www.willinghelpersclinic.com. To find resources, click on the top blue bar at "local resources" for detailed information about medical services and more.

Visit www.newtoncan.org for detailed information for generalized needs, including housing and food by looking under "basic needs".

Faithworks can be reached at 770-784-1884 and is open on Wednesdays. They can give a one-time allocation of $150 per year for utilities.

Covington First United Methodist Church can be reached at 770-786-7305 and may be able to help in a variety of ways.
