Boys Baseball

The Newton County Recreation Commission's Baseball Program is offered to children ages 4 to 14. This program is designed to teach the fundamentals of Baseball. We offer spring and fall sessions. Our Baseball Program is affiliated with Little League and Dixie Boys Organizations and we have All-Star Teams at the end of our regular season. These teams will play in a district tournament for the opportunity to advance on to the State Tournament.

  • All regular season games are played at City Pond Complex, located here in Newton County. Our spring season begins practice in March. Games begin in April and go through June.
  • Fall Baseball practice begins in August and games run from September until the middle of October.
  • Teams are allowed to practice two times during the week and once on the weekends.
  • Dedicated volunteers are always needed. Print out a Coaches Application (PDF) and drop it off at our Turner Lake Office!
